About the author:
Gina Hay (she/her) is a writing student at the University of Victoria, situated on unceded Coast-Salish lands. She was born in Amsterdam and raised on Curaçao, in the Dutch-Caribbean. Her poetry and prose have been featured in The Literary Review of Canada, PRISM International, Contemporary Verse 2, Grain, FreeFall, 2.3.74 and The Warren Undergraduate Review, for which she is now editor-in-chief. She is a graduate of the Iowa summer writing fiction program. Gina enjoys animal motifs, prophecies, and temper tantrums.
